Moshi town to Marangu Gate
We know that not everyone has time to climb to Mt. Kilimanjaro's summit. This is why Taste of Kilimanjaro Adventures offers a one-day trip along Marangu route to the first base camp where you can be able to walk around the Maundi Crater. The trek takes you through the rain forest where there is a lot of game to view, including the colobus monkey.
Time: 8:00am - 6:00pm
Level of difficulty: Medium to hard
Depart Tanzania
The day is left free to wind down after the trek before your flight home. Depending on flight times you could go and explore Moshi town and grab some souvenirs before heading to the airport.
*Mount Kilimanjaro trekking, Wildlife Safari, Zanzibar and other add-ons are available if you wish to continue exploring Tanzania.
- Private Transport in a customized pop-up top 4 x 4 Safari Land cruiser with plugs to charge the mobile, and camera, also with an intercooler to keep drinks cold.
- Service of an English-speaking professional driver guide.
- Unlimited drinking water during safari.
- Three meals per day during safari.
